You've planned the production. Have you planned for the people?

BECAUSE THE AUDIENCE SHOULD FEEL THE TENSION - NOT THE CAST AND CREW

Where I Come In

Intimacy coordination

For scenes involving intimacy, nudity, simulated sex, kissing, touch, vulnerability or heightened physical proximity.

Wellbeing Coordination

For productions working with emotionally demanding themes, psychosocial risk, trauma related content or complex cast and crew needs.

Consultations

For early stage conversations, script breakdowns, rehearsal planning, risk management and tailored cast/crew workshops.

My services prioritise sustainable budgeting appropriate to the realities of contemporary production, while maintaining professional standards.

So you’re ready to tell your story …

Why productions

choose me

Certification got me started. Curiosity keeps me learning.

I can absolutely talk psychosocial frameworks, trauma-informed practice and all the industry terminology if that's your thing.

What really shapes my work, is everything I've chosen to build beyond certification requirements.Alongside training with multiple internationally recognised intimacy organisations, I'm one of Australia's first practitioners undertaking specialist Wellbeing Coordinator certification for stage and screen.

That additional training doesn't sit alongside my intimacy practice—it strengthens it. It means I can support productions with a broader understanding of performer wellbeing, psychosocial risk and the realities of working with people—not just the intimate scenes.

I'm all about flexible frameworks, not compulsory directives while adapting to your production—not expecting your production to adapt to the process.

Psychosocial responsibilities have changed. Production pressure hasn't.

Budgets are tight. Schedules are ambitious. Stories are pushing further than ever.

Alongside that comes an increased focus on performer wellbeing, boundaries/consent, and psychosocial risk—not as an obstacle to creativity, but as part of running a well-supported production.

That's where I come in.

I help productions navigate the human side of storytelling with practical support, specialist knowledge and a collaborative approach that works with your production—not against it.

Specialist training. Practical application.

Cause collecting certificates isn't the goal. Knowing how to use them is.

Hair - GCLT theatre

With ‘Hair' being such an intimate show, Ambridge clearly created good direction and a safe environment for the actors.

Review | Theatre Haus

Cindy was the most amazing person to have on set. She was an overall positive and cheerful person, a real moral booster! If you’re based in SEQ, she is your go too!

Cindy

No I'm not the kiss cop or fun police

After more than 30 years working across the performing arts, wellbeing, and education I've found my place where everything comes together.

That place is supporting productions that want specialist support without unnecessary complexity.

My role isn't to take over the creative process. It's to support it—bringing clarity, collaboration and calmness to the moments that need it most.

ABOUT ME
Cindy02.JPG

I didn't start in film and television. I started in performance. Then psychology, Then education with some yoga along the way. Intimacy and Wellbeing Coordination became the place where all those worlds come together.
